Nadia Touihri statistician, demographer, works as the Regional Labour Statistician at the International Labour Organization (ILO) Regional Office for Africa. In this role, she supports African countries in producing quality labour statistics  that align with international standards. Prior to joining the ILO, she was Head of the Demographic and Social Statistics Department at the National Institute of Statistics (INS) of Tunisia, where she led major national initiatives in survey design, data collection, and analysis. Her portfolio included labour force surveys, population and housing censuses, and specialized surveys such as the Tunisia-HIMS on international migration.
