Raïda El Elj is the director of implementation and Support mechanisms ( مديرة آليات الدعم والتنفيذ) at the national Climate Change coordination Unit in the Tunisian ministry of Environment and the national focal point of the IPCC ( نقطة الاتصال الوطنية للهيئة الحكومية الدولية المعنية بتغير المناخ ).She is particularly in charge of different aspects of climate policy including adaptation to climate change and just transition.

Prior to this position, she worked in the Ministry of Economy where she was in charge of international cooperation with the EU. She holds a bachelor degree in Finance (IHEC), a diploma from the Ecole nationale d’administration (Cycle supérieur de l’ENA) as well as a master degree in « European Law and EU-Maghreb relationships.
